If your organization uses Okta to manage your employees access to tools and services, you can take advantage of Okta’s “Single Sign-On” feature that allow users to enter one name and password to access multiple applications, including Base-B.

The integration between Okta and Base-B that enables this SSO to occur is built around an industry-standard protocol known as SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language). To learn more about how Okta works with SAML, please see this article.

The remainder of this guide is focused on enabling you to configure both Base-B and Okta to get provisioning up and running for your organization.

Features

The following provisioning features are supported:

**IdP-initiated SSO: **Identity Provider-initiated Single Sign-On. A single sign-on operation that was started from the IdP Security Domain. The IdP federation server creates a federation SSO response and redirects the user to the SP with the response message and an optional operational state.

Requirements

SAML single sign-on are only available to paying customers.

How to edit an already answered Proposal?

This action is only possible if the process is still within the expiration period defined by the buyer.

After being logged in to our platform.

In the left menu, find the Proposals option.
Locate the proposal you want to change.
On the line of the submitted proposal, click on the 'eye' at the end of the line.

* Edit whatever interests you, and after all changes, click on the Send button.

Okta SCIM Integration

If your organization uses Okta to manage your employees access to tools and services, you can take advantage of Okta’s “Provisioning” feature to automatically grant access to Base-B to your users, and even optionally synchronize membership in select Okta Groups with Base-B user groups.

The integration between Okta and Base-B that enables this provisioning to occur is built around an industry-standard protocol known as SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management). To learn more about how Okta works with SCIM, please see this article.

The following provisioning features are supported:

**Push Users: **New users created through OKTA will also be created in the Base-B application.
Push Profile Updates: Updates made to the user profile through OKTA will be sent to the Base-B application.
Push User Deactivation: Deactivating the user or disabling the user's access to the application through OKTA will deactivate the user in the Base-B application. Note: For this application, deactivating a user means removing login access, but keeping the user's Base-B information as an inactive user.
Reactivate Users: User accounts in Base-B can be reactivated via OKTA.

How to recover password?

Forgetting your password is a common occurrence due to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But at Base-B the password recovery process is very simple.

NOT LOGGED IN TO THE PLATFORM

On the Base-B login screen click on the option: Forgot password?
Enter your e-mail address and click on the button: Confirm
Access your inbox, locate the password recovery e-mail, and click on the button: Reset Password or copy the link and paste it into your browser.
Create a new password according to the rules.
READY! Your password has been changed, and you are directed to the next screen of the system.

* Log in with the new password!

LOGGED IN TO THE PLATFORM

In the top bar, in the right-hand corner, click on your photo.
Then click on: Profile
Switch to the Security tab and click on Change password.
A POP-UP will open for you to change your password.
Create a new password according to the rules.
Save the information.
READY! Your password has been changed. On your next login you will need to enter the new password.

NOTE: It may take a while to receive the password change e-mail due to the slowness of the server to which the e-mail is being sent.

How to accept an invite from a new company?

Today on the Base-B platform, it is possible to serve more than one company for a client, but to do so you will need to be invited to the new company.

When an invitation is pending acceptance, you will see a red notification on your profile picture with the number of invitations pending acceptance.

Accepting an invitation is simple.

After the login in our portal,

In the top bar, in the right-hand corner, click on your photo.
Then click on My Companies.
Simply locate the company where the invitation is pending and accept it.

* READY! Now you have access to the company you were invited to.

Question 6

Purchase Orders

After logging in to our portal, in the left menu, there are Purchase Orders.

In the orders option, you can check the order information, the status, the generated code, the issue date, the customer, the description, the quotation code and also the total value of the order. And further down the line if you want to check information or details, send a message to the buyer, print the order as a PDF, accept or decline the order, just click on the 'eye' at the end of the line.

Detail: The red ball with the number 'above' the request number is the notification that the process is pending a response.

How to respond to a Request?

More at the end of the request line, there is an 'eye', where by clicking on it, you will be inside the request. Then just confirm the data that have already been 'aligned' in the quote request, and then accept or reject it.

Note: If you have doubts about the status of the order, just click on the situation, which will show each type of situation and its respective legend.
