# How to recover password?

Forgetting your password is a common occurrence due to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.    But at Base-B the password recovery process is very simple.

**NOT LOGGED IN TO THE PLATFORM**

* On the [Base-B](https://accounts.baseb.app/singin) login screen click on the option: __Forgot password?__
* Enter your e-mail address and click on the button: __Confirm__
* Access your inbox, locate the password recovery e-mail, and click on the button: __Reset Password__ or copy the link and paste it into your browser.
* Create a new password according to the rules.
* **READY!** Your password has been changed, and you are directed to the next screen of the system.
* Log in with the new password!

**LOGGED IN TO THE PLATFORM**

* In the top bar, in the right-hand corner, click on your photo.
* Then click on: __Profile__
* Switch to the Security tab and click on Change password.
* A POP-UP will open for you to change your password.
* Create a new password according to the rules.
* Save the information.
* **READY!** Your password has been changed.
__On your next login you will need to enter the new password.__

### NOTE: It may take a while to receive the password change e-mail due to the slowness of the server to which the e-mail is being sent.
